Here at Lynx Heli Innovations we are helicopter pilots and fly the same models you do.

The Gaui X3 / X3L employs a particular FBL head design, that system can perform better if special semi-rigid dampeners are used.

By combining our engineering and helicopter experience we have designed special dampeners that hold the spindle and reduce play to emphasize the semi-rigid head flight characteristics.

These dampeners will increase the cyclic response (precise off center feel) and the flight precision in your Gaui X3 / X3L with stock Gaui plastic grips or Gaui CNC Upgraded grips, or any brand head parts.

Lynx Gaui X3 / X3L dampeners are composed by two pieces - one Rubber O-ring to maintain the necessary preload (to remove side to side play) and one bushing in techno-polymer auto-lube to assure maximum load and friction resistance.

These dampeners give your Gaui X3 / X3L an incredible precise feel in the air. The difference is visible, particularly in fast forward flight and with quick pitch or cyclic changes.

Testing has shown that the Gaui X3 / X3L Lynx dampeners are advised when average to high head speed and/or aggressive flying is used, "usually" over ~2400rpm with ~380mm blades,/, over ~2700rpm with ~350-360mm blades,/, and over 3100rpm with 320mm blades.

TIPS FOR BEST PERFORMANCE AND EASY INSTALLATION:

Before you install the Lynx dampeners, disassemble the main grips and remove STOCK dampeners and STOCK metal shims. 

Install the O-Ring and the Bushing respecting the order shown in the extra install picture above. Just like normal/stock dampers, remember to grease the dampers/o-rings with 100% silicone grease when installing, this will help the dampers break in and run smooth. POM bushings have a special shape design, just be sure about the O-Ring and Bushing Step surfaces are faced to the main hub, and the Bushing Flat surface is faced to main grip.

Follow above pictures for the correct installation.

Once heli is assembled, test, and in case of cyclic shaking, adjust cyclic gain by reducing Aileron and Elevator gain a little at a time until shaking/wobble is gone. This is normal when the head is more rigid, and or not fully broken in.
